Finally, the long awaited re-paving of the road going through Barbers Point is finally being done!  No more dodging pot holes.  The construction started at each end of the road (at the gate near the wastewater treatment plant in Ewa Beach and at the other end down by Costco in Kapolei). 

At the pace that they are going right now, it looks like it might take them just a few weeks to complete it.  It appears that they are shaving off about the top 2″ or so of pavement and then laying down another 2″ of new asphalt. 

Another plus for Ewa Beach, Kapolei and the Leeward Coast of Oahu!
