The Barbers Point Commissary is now officially CLOSED FOREVER.  For those of us military personell and other authorized ID card holders that live on the Leeward side of the island, it was a great benefit to have the little commissary in such a convenient location.  The commissary will be missed by all of us. 

For the time being, the gas station, barber shop, subway sandwich shop and dry cleaners will remain open on Barbers Point.  We have not heard any talk about closing those facilities.

The Bowling Alley on Barbers Point is open once again.  MWR has given up control of the facility and it is now being run by a group of civilians.  The bowling alley is open to everyone regardless of whether or not you have a military ID card.
